Question

I generated an image in Adobe Firefly using Gemini 3 at 2K resolution, but the image was not generated. It showed an error message saying “Something went wrong,” however 40 credits were deducted from my account.

I attempted to generate an image using Gemini 3 (with Nano Banana Pro) in Adobe Firefly. The aspect ratio was set to Landscape (4:3) and the resolution was set to 2K.

After clicking Generate, the system displayed the error message:
“Something went wrong. Please try again later.”

The image was not generated successfully. However, 40 credits were deducted from my account despite the failed generation.

This issue occurred immediately after submission, and I have attached a screenshot for reference.

Please investigate this issue and restore the deducted credits if applicable.

    Hi Karthi KT,

Thank you for writing to us about this.

In Firefly credits are deducted once you hit Generate, but if the generation fails due to an error, those credits are automatically returned to your balance.

If you’re still certain that some credits were permanently deducted after an error, please share the date(s) of those failed generations along with the screenshot you mentioned. I can escalate this to the team so they can verify your credit usage.

Let me know, and we’ll take it from there.
