I had around 1400 credits left trying to produce 4 second animations using veo 3.1 fast (40 credits per animation). Suddenly account set to zero credits and I'm unable to continue working?

Credits suddenly set to zero

    Thanks Steve for your reply,

So I went back to investigate this further, and here’s what I found:

    • Your 8th to last  video generation was the last one that used the Veo 3.1 Fast model, which just as you mentioned , it consumed 40 credits. At that point, your balance was 1,630 credits.

    • After that, you generated 7 more videos. None of those used the Veo 3.1 Fast model; they were all created with the Firefly model, which uses 250 credits per video.

That means after your balance showed 1,630 credits, the next 7 videos used a total of 1,750 credits. This brings your overall usage to 4,120 credits across all your generations.

If you want to double‑check everything, you can go to Your Stuff → Generation History, then select Video, that will show all your video generations and help you keep track of your credit usage.

Let me know if anything here needs more clarification.

    How many four second videos?

Credits used are per second, not per video.

I’ve been working with Firefly for the last few months and the videos were 4 seconds long. I’d been working for half an hour or so. Came away from Firefly to work on something else when I came back I clicked generate and got a not enough credits message. Clicked on my account image top right of the screen to check my credits. This was showing as 1400 or so but before my eyes ticked down to nothing in a second or two

    Hi steven_9946,

    Thanks for flagging this.
Since your credits suddenly dropped to 0 while generating animations, I’d like to check a couple of things to understand what happened:

    • Have there been any recent changes to your plan or subscription?

    • Did your billing date or credit‑reset timing shift at all?

    • When you get a moment, could you share a screenshot of your profile icon on the Adobe Account page so we can verify your generative credit balance? Please blur/cover your email or any personal details before sending it.

Feel free to update us once you’ve checked.
