Hello,

I would like to report a recurring bug with the image generation feature in Affinity.

Every time I attempt to generate an image, the process fails and only error messages appear on the screen. No image is ever generated or delivered. Despite this, my credits are still consumed on every attempt.

This has happened consistently, not just once, and I have not been able to successfully generate a single image. As a result, I am losing credits without receiving the service promised.

Please investigate this issue and let me know:

  • Why images are not being generated

  • Why credits are deducted even when generation fails

  • Whether my lost credits can be restored

Thank you for your attention. I look forward to a resolution.

HI Thaylinevar!

Sorry about that. Could you share the complete prompt with us? Which Image model are you using? Have you already tried another browser?

Let us know.

Thanks,

The prompt:

A hyper-realistic vintage-inspired beauty close-up portrait photograph
(Ratio 4:5) shot with soft tungsten indoor lighting with gentle falloff.
Shot on Canon EOS R6, 50 mm lens at f/1.8. Woman looking in a mirror, while
the lip gloss shown in the scene is the exact same gloss provided as the
attached reference image (same product, same packaging, same color, same
material, no variation). the woman have dark skin. Rendered with textures
of natural skin grain, creamy gloss consistency, soft fabric highlights,
producing smooth tonal transitions and restrained specular highlights. half
1/2 background is a dark, minimal interior backdrop, subtly blurred to
isolate the subject and enhance intimacy. Effects like soft lens bloom,
mild optical softness, and fine analog grain add film-inspired realism. The
atmosphere mirrors.

I tried another browser. I use Nano banana 3.0 😕😕
