Image-to-Video generation fails with “Something went wrong” when using Kling 3.0 and Veo in Adobe Firefly. The native Firefly Video model works normally.

Hello Adobe Team,

I’m experiencing a reproducible issue with the Image-to-Video feature in Adobe Firefly.

When I upload an image and try to generate a video using either Kling 3.0 or Veo, the generation fails and displays:

“Something went wrong. Please try again later.”

The issue occurs with both Kling 3.0 and Veo. However, the native Adobe Firefly Video model works normally using the same image and workflow.

Steps to reproduce:

Open Adobe Firefly → Generate Video.

Upload an image.

Select Kling 3.0 or Veo.

Enter a prompt.

Click Generate.

The generation fails with the error message.

Expected result:

The video should generate successfully.

Actual result:

The generation fails with “Something went wrong. Please try again later.”

Affected models: Kling 3.0 and Veo

Native Firefly Video: Works normally

Feature: Image-to-Video

Please investigate this issue.

If you have the credits and have tried these different browsers, there could be something unexpected in your prompt causing your generation to fail. We have an article that can help you identify issues in your prompt. You may need to re-word it in order to get the image to go through.

I have tried 3 browsers, including incognito mode. None of it works. Instant “something went wrong”. I also see that this issue has been going on for a while and Adobe doesn’t seem to be fixing it…
We pay good money each month, and we expect these things to work.
    Fix this!

    Hey @Clever_magic6e6d

    Steps to take
This behaviour has been caused by interference from browser extensions in the past (such as ad blockers). Can you try in private browsing/incognito mode or in another browser as a test?

Could you create a full screen video of your workflow showing us what is happening? This would help considerably.

Could you give us more information: what msg are you receiving? Are the images your own photos/ images? Were the images generated by another AI Source, if so which one(s)?

    Creative Cloud app

I have noticed something similar when using 3rd party models. As a result, I have had to look in my Creative Cloud app to see if the image/ voice/ video has been generated before pressing “Generate” again to conserve credits.

Could you have a look in your Creative Cloud App and see if the image/video is hiding there?

    >>Press generate: ONLY ONCE<<. If the generation is taking forever or not generating, check your CC App.
