Imported image not being used in generated video

I have uploaded an avatar of a woman I created in Photoshop. In Firefly, the uploaded image is only partially correct in the completed video. It has kept the clothing (more or less) but has completely changed the face of the person. How can I use the exact image I uploaded?

The other thing is that the movement prompts for left to right don't work. If I ask Firefly to have the character walk from one side of the screen to another, I only ever get a face-on shot. Is this just a limitation of the program or are there best practices for prompts to get the desired results?
