Incorrect number of items, people, etc are generated properly

When I prompt a request for four, five, six, etc of items to appear in the generated image, it is never the correct number that was prompted. Please advise.

    Thank you for your message. I am sorry you are having this problem. 

    Counting is not a strength of the AI image generators. As you know, this does create some frustration and it has been brought up before in these threads:

     

     

    In the last thread above, I did discuss some techniques of changing prompts and using generative fill, but it is a challenging problem to solve, and at the end of the day, Photoshop might be easier to achieve exactly what you want.  Good luck.
