Question

Loosing Credits to Bad work: can they be returned

I have been testing Firefly against Kling for the past few hours,  mostly because Firefly is failing and miserably at that which is costing me a lot of credits in it’s failure.  When I use the same exact prompt, Kling generally gets it right the first time, where Firefly seems to get worse with every correction.  So far the reviews are that Firefly is not up to par, nor ready for sale.  Yet, the interface is nice and the option to compare with other better programs is a perk.  However I do wish there was a way to interact with Firefly better, it seems there is no interactive dialogue like with say, Chat.  It seems like Firefly takes the prompt does whatever it wants, then there seems to be no real feedback loop, if you try and edit, the work just gets worse and you waste a lot of credits trying to polish a Firefly failure.

Thank you @Dpmatlosz for your valued feedback.

Could you share some examples of images that don’t meet your requirements w a few notes explaining what isn’t working. This helps.

Keep in mind Adobe Firefly models are commercially safe.
Sometimes AI Generative Models run into a bad seed. I find deleting bad images helps. Make sure to delete the files that are not working to prevent having a bad seed.

The process of prompting and getting the desired results ends up being a lot of trial and error.

I ran another prompt with image supplied yesterday, 4 times, Firefly ignored some of the prompts.  These are video prompts for animation.  So single frames do not help. I used the same prompt each time.  In my experience Firefly ignored many of the prompts, color style, even action, where Kling seemed to land it 98% better.    Note: Many times if it was not workable or usable I just deleted it.  A few times it was so worthlessly bad, there was no point in keeping it.  And point being: is that tragic, terrible results still cost credits, sometimes many credits.

My last prompt and render was started with Kling, but one element needed to be changed, I typed the prompt, Firefly defaulted to Firefly interpreting the prompt based on a short animated video that Kling made.  The next result terrible, Firefly ignored many of the prompts, I tried a thrid time with Firefly, it got worse.  I then deleted all the examples and started with the original plus edited prompt tried it once with Kling and it was really good.

Seems I cannot supply the frames, since this chat limits file size.  I’d have to supply 4 images  or be able to share the video to really show the issue.

    Please advise.

I will be doing some more animation today, As mush as I’d be happy to test and compare, each test with Firefly costs me credits, which I am quickly running out of.
