Question

maximum number of characters in the prompt

I noticed that in Nano Banana Pro and also in GPT, the prompt is limited to 5000 characters.
How can I get around this constraint, which can be limiting for very detailed prompts?

Hey @Milkoconlaelle

Honestly, I find that overly detailed prompts confuse the AI generator. I like to build up an image: background, then the characters, and so on.

Each image can build on to the next image. I tend to get better results overall. Mind you I also use PS, Illustrator, and Adobe Express to create a final product.

Cheers

thank you @Oh.N8 for your reply.

I think I read that, according to the documentation, the input context window for nano banana is 32k tokens (roughly 80-100,000 characters), while in nano banana pro it goes up to 64k input and 32k output. I don't know if this means the text prompt can reach that much, since input images are also involved, but the "5000 character" limit seems to be imposed by other factors.

Hey @Milkoconlaelle

I don't know all the ins and outs of each model.
When I read your prompt, you have very specific requirements. Based on my experience, I prefer to build up the image through compositioning.

I know it doesn't answer your Qs. Would definitely like to see the image though ^
