Nano Banana models suddenly stopped working in Adobe Firefly

I am experiencing a persistent issue with all Google Gemini Nano Banana models in Adobe Firefly. Whenever I try to generate or edit an image, I receive the error message: "Something went wrong. Please try again later."

The issue occurs whether I use reference images or try to generate an image without any reference images. Therefore, the problem does not seem to be related to the reference images themselves.

These models were working normally for me before, and I was able to generate images without any problems. Suddenly, they stopped working and this error started appearing every time I try to use them.

The issue has been occurring for a long time and has not been resolved. I have already tried different web browsers, refreshed the page, logged out and back in, and tried using Adobe Firefly from my phone and other devices. The problem still persists.

The issue affects all Nano Banana models, not just one specific model, and happens both with and without reference images.

Please investigate this issue and let me know if it is a known problem with the Google Nano Banana models in Adobe Firefly. I would appreciate a permanent solution, as these models were working normally before and suddenly stopped working despite trying different browsers and devices.

Something went wrong troubleshooting

A Full Screenshot or short video:  Please provide a screenshot of your entire browser or application window, including your avatar in the upper right corner. Many errors have multiple causes; seeing the full context is much more helpful than a zoomed-in image of the error message alone.
>>Make sure to remove person details: email address, name... before posting<<

  • System Details: Specify your Operating System (OS) and Browser (including version numbers).
  • Workflow Context:
    • Which Firefly function were you using? (e.g., Text to Image, Generative Fill, Text to Video, etc.)
    • Which model was selected? (e.g., Firefly Image 3, Image 4 Ultra, Imagen 3).
    • The full prompt you were using.
    • Copies of any reference images, keyframes, or original images used.

Other suggestions

  1. Try a different web browser (or an Incognito/Private window) to rule out browser extensions or cache issues.
  2. Disable any active VPN, ad-blockers, or strict firewall settings temporarily.
  3. Clear your browser's cache and cookies (see image below):
