New to Firefly: Vietnam Veteran prompt

I am new to firefly and I have been trying to get a image both from text to image in firefly and generative fill in photoshop. The results have not been what I am looking for. Even taking the photo into Photoshop making a rectangular selection on the hat and saying American Flag, all I get is a star? What am I don't wrong?

   

Here are some of the prompts I used: 

  • a Vietnam veteran, African-American, male, senior citizen, eating a meal
  • African-American, male, senior citizen, eating a meal. He is wearing a dark navy-blue ball cap with the words "Vietnam Veteran" and the American Flag on it
  • Man, Senior citizen, veteran, Dark navy blue ball cap, at table eating dinner

@Veronica22551996i6fw Hi and welcome to Firefly. A couple of things that will help you along the way...

  • Firefly (and any other AI model) cannot produce legible type/words at this time. It's a known limitation of AI models.
  • Firefly sometimes works better describing the person instead of using pronouns or places like Vietnam.
  • Anything specific like an American Flag or Vietnam Veteran logo would have to be added after you geneate the image.

 

Here is an example: "Older African-American male with a dark navy blue baseball cap and green polo shirt eating dinner".

 

Once in Photoshop find a stock image or other source for the specific Vietnam Veteran logo you want to use and merge with the AI generated image:
