Option to open Boards in Premiere Beta

Hey everyone,

I’m working on several projects in Adobe Firefly Boards, and I’d like to open those files directly in Premiere Pro (Beta) instead of the regular Premiere Pro desktop version.

Is that even possible right now? It seems like the system automatically defaults to the standard Premiere Pro app, and I can’t find an option to switch the target app to the Beta version.

Has anyone figured out a workaround or confirmed whether Beta is supported for opening Boards projects?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi Piotr Gardecki!

    Thank you for your question.

At this time, Firefly Boards projects are designed to open in the standard Premiere Pro desktop application, and there isn’t a supported option to directly target Premiere Pro (Beta) when opening projects. The system will default to the main installed version.

As a workaround, you may be able to open the project in the standard version and then manually open or import it into Premiere Pro (Beta), depending on compatibility.

An option to open Boards directly in Premiere Beta would streamline creative workflows by reducing app switching and improving collaboration. Integrating Boards access within Premiere could make reviewing ideas, organizing assets, and managing projects faster and more convenient for editors.
