I just received the access to firefly video. I tried it yesterday for two 5 sec videos, and after that, I kept getting the buy now screen. My account info says I have 1000generative credits. Do I need to do something to a setting or preference? I have Creative Cloud  subscription .

Hi Smart Ears!

Creative Cloud plans do not currently include premium generative features. However, we're providing some free access for a set number of premium feature generations (2 free video generations and 40 seconds of translation). To generate more than what is currently included, beyond free generations, you can add on a Firefly Standard or Pro plan.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

KR

I just love these chirpy, upbeat responses from Adobe implying that they are somehow doing us a favor by forcing us to pay to beta test after generating a maximum two abysmal test videos. Phenomenal.

Firefly is saying I have used all of my complimentary credits, but my Adobe account is saying I still have 1,000 credits AIcredits to be used. I'm trying to use the Firefly text to video generation. Am I missing something?

Bonjour,

Il me reste 990 crédits génératifs restant et pourtant firefly refuse de fonctionner sous pretexte qu'ils sont épuisé, je ne comprends pas.

Merci,

Bonne soirée.

Hey,

I see you're trying to generate video which is a premium function. If you have a CC all apps plan text/image to video is not included and you are granted a limited trail. In this case it seems you've used up your trail attempts.

You can see an overview of where you can use your credits, and which plan you need to use the premium functions here: https://helpx.adobe.com/firefly/get-set-up/learn-the-basics/generative-credits-faq.html#exceptions-list:~:text=5.%20What%20are%20Adobe%20Firefly%20Plus%20and%20Adobe%C2%A0Firefly%20Premium%20plans%3F

Sure, keep forwarding users to the 12 mile-long page of confusing stipulations that were not presented when originally promoting this. That really helps.

Hi all!

Users on Creative Cloud plans can use their credits on any standard Firefly feature (e.g., Generative Fill, Generate Image). However, users need to be on Firefly Standard or Pro plans to access premium features like Generative Video and Translate Video and Audio. We provide all users the ability to try out our premium features. Complimentary generations vary by premium feature (e.g., 2 complimentary generations of Generate Video).

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks

Please. Your credit system is convoluted and disengenous to your top-tier paying users, particularly given this is for beta testing. Why on earth do you think I would pay more to test a beta program that already failed on my only two allocated video tests? Stop playing us.

If I have to pay for Creative Cloud then an additional Pro product on key things I'm definitely moving on from Adobe. That's what Disney Parks did with charging you a hefty admission and then if you really, really wanted to not stand in line all day for the rides you paid admission for you could buy ANOTHER product for up to $200 more. Disney is feeling the wrath of long time customers who have essentially either decided they are priced out or they are unwilling to pay that amount when there are excellent alternatives. NOBODY WANTS ADDITIONAL SUBSCRIPTIONS IN THEIR LIVES.

Si bien tengo créditos generativos dentro de mio suscripción, sólo pude probar el video generativo una vez  (o dos) y a la tercera me pide que compre nuevos. No entiendo cómo funciona el sistema.

I don't disagree with the tool being paid, but only two tests to subscribers? It serves no purpose, neither for you, nor for the users.
In any case you have a serious communication problem. The reactions of the community prove it.
I hope you can correct this problem at some point.

Are they serious? For results that are still in beta and not perfect? you have to pay for them to keep improving the tool?

I'd rather pay for an application that's going to produce perfect results than for something musty like this... In the creative cloud full app plan, it says firefly included and there's no postscript that says video is not included or anything...

I think adobe needs to see the competition come in and we'll all be happy to go elsewhere, I've already started looking at lifetime applications...

By sticking us with subscriptions all over the place, we wonder how we'll ever make a profit again...
We're not all agencies with millions in revenues...

I was totally suprised and so dissapointed that i was stopped and limited in the 3rd test in FIREFLY video feature.

The image that i used was from a proffesional photographer and the video result was so bad, even the character in the video was looking so malformed. Guys we are positive for subscription but we have to be sure that the result will not be bad at least. As proffesionals we only use tools for serious results and not for experiments. ADOBE should give us the right to test a new tool. This tool isnt now on its greatest level, so testing for only 2 videos free is the most unfair thing for the professional community.

We dont want free tools, we need tools that are working properly. If you can guarantee for that, we will pay now for the best available subscription, but if it doesnt work properly then give us the right to test that tool for the sake of the professional community.  We want time to check it, to test it, to push it to the limit. Thank you.

Totally agree.

As for the video you attached ....
haha ... I loved “the wink” before leaving frame!!!!
It's definitely a beta. 😃

But hey, you can get a subscription and keep cranking those out.

Adobe, YOU GOTTA NAIL THIS AND MAKE IT INCREDIBLE BEFORE PEOPLE WILL PAY EXTRA.

In Fifefly, trying to translate audio it shows the plans I should pay to get credits, but I already have lots of credit left in my account.

I think the question is will Adobe reconsider this? It's nearly impossible to create perfect AI compositions in two tries and we're paying Creative Cloud customers who were on a long waiting list for this. While you have the technical answer of needing a subscription, who do we appeal to at Adobe? Adobe just had all the bad press to clarify ownership of creations and AI use. It would be cool to make a better video monthly allotment for Creative Cloud subscribers.

I can't imagine the backlash that is coming on YouTube about this from creators who blasted Adobe before.

Tenho mil créditos generativos disponíveis para o firefly e ao tentar gerar vídeos a partir de imagens a adobe está tentando me vender novos créditos para eu poder criar.
