prompts being ignored

not sure if it's a bug, but i'm on the seventh straight generation using different variations of the same prompt asking nothing new to be added to the video and it keeps adding something that isn't there. i'm wasting credits on a simple request and it keeps ignoring my prompts. i understand you might not be able to prevent generation from going awry, but if i specifically use prompts to prevent something and it does it anyway, why should I lose credits? a few times sure, but seven or eight straight?

Negative prompts can be tricky with a lot of AI models. “Do not”...” or something similar for many models is interpreted as requesting the exact opposite. A prompt such as, “the man should not have a beard” will often result in giving the subject a full beard. “The man should be clean shaven” on the other hand, might yield the desired result. If you could post the prompt in questions, that might help and someone can suggest some possible work arounds. Are you creating an entire new video or attempting to edit an existing one?

I’ve wasted hundreds of credits with Firefly AI. Even the simplest prompts are not adhered to. I’ve gotten so fed up that I started using non-Adobe AI programs and believe me, they are easier and give far better, predictably useable results. I then bring those images into Photoshop to finish them.

We want to assist you and help resolve the challenges you are encountering. When things are not working as expected it is frustrating.
Could you provide more information to proceed. Without the requested information it is difficult to assist you resolve the issue.

Steps to take
This behaviour has been caused by interference from browser extensions in the past (such as ad blockers). Can you try in private browsing/incognito mode or in another browser as a test?

Could you create a full screen video of your workflow showing us what is happening? This would help considerably.

Provide your prompt and reference image(s) if there are any?

Which model(s) are you using?
Consider clearing cache, cookies, and using a different browser.

Could you give us more information: what msg are you receiving? Are the images your own photos/ images? Were the images generated by another AI Source, if so which one(s)?

Just to add to what @daniellei4510 mentioned.
Could you share an example of your prompt? This way we can assist you better.

I find clearing the images that I don’t want helps as well.

When wanting to keep the same image, I often put at the beginning of my prompt:
Example of Prompt
Keep original image
or
Use reference image

I’ll keep that in mind as well. Like I said I’ve got a rhythm down with some repetitive product clips and it’s just a rarity it hiccups and gives me a stretch of garbage.

Okay. I get that. I have had a few moments like that as well. Make sure to give a thumbs down and thumbs up and some feedback for the developers. They do read your feedback.

I find when I give a thumbs up to images that are working. It helps just as much.

the clearer the feedback/ specific details helps them a lot.

Final bit… Not exactly sure if this would help or not. There are the custom models as well. Again… I am not sure if this would apply to what you are doing.

Thanks. Yes that makes sense. I’m doing a lot of repetitive product movement for things that I’ve got down pretty well. It rarely acts up over a few generations until I get it right. Nothing that complicated. Sometimes it just does what it wants. Sometimes the fix is going to my generation history to something that’s worked, and just work from that prompt and it’ll suddenly obey. My frustration is when you’ve used good AI prompts to lock the appearance and remove/reduce/limit added crap, it just trips its balls off and throws nonsense into the mix. Add several botched generations and you just feel like you want some money back.
