Question

Reference first frame not loading feels like a con

Sometimes when I upload an image as a first from and do a prompt it takes no notice of the image and and simply gets rid of the images I have put up as a reference its happened about 5 time now and I have lost a lot other credits because of it!!

The first image is mine that I used for reference to make a quick 4 second video

This is what firefly put out .
This is the prompt I use at the beginning of my prompts it clearly say “Preserve the composition, colours, lighting, perspective and painterly style exactly.”
Use the uploaded image as the exact first frame. Preserve the composition, colours, lighting, perspective and painterly style exactly. The camera remains completely locked with no pan, zoom, tilt or shake.

Firefly feels a bit like a con just taking money of you everytime, if its not what I ask for why should I pay for it? If I go into a restaurant and ask for a steak and they give me chicken but say it's what the chef wanted to cook and you have to pay the price of a steak would you pay it? No you wouldn't! so why should we all keep paying for this?

Hey CrissCroft, sorry for the frustration.

I took a screenshot of your first frame image and used it on my own. Attached are the settings I used, and the output.

Here is the prompt I used

Use the first frame reference image to animate the trees blowing in the wind, and the water flowing gently. Retain everything else about the image as is.

I’m not sure if you’re using a different model than me or what else could be the difference. But following the settings shared in the attached screenshot, it didn’t change anything else about the picture, just animated the people in the photo and the surrounding nature.

Hope that helps,

Caroline
