STOP FORCING DIVERSITY INTO RESULTS

The forced diversity in results is seriously probelmatic. I frequently need results with specific racial groups (generating illustrations for historical / socialogical content) and Firefly constantly returns racially diverse results, no matter how hard I try to limit it. This is especially true when I'm looking for white or caucasian people only. 3 out of 4 of the generated results will be people of color. PLEASE give us control over this (negative prompts, or just respecting my prompt without any algorithmic bias?).

Hi @abpositive, I understand it's frustrating when the outputs aren't right for your needs. I've seen similar feedback from others and experienced the same myself. Here are some ideas to try.

Place ethnicity early in your prompt. Use clear terms such as “Caucasian” “White European” or “Northern European” combined with physical descriptors to try to override defaults. Here is an example using Firefly Image 4 Ultra:

“Photorealistic portrait of a Caucasian man in Victorian attire, fair skin, light blue eyes, short brown hair, standing in a foggy London street during the Industrial Revolution. Detailed historical accuracy, no other ethnicities.”

You can try to tie the ethnicity to era-specific details, for example, “A group of White Scandinavian Vikings raiding a coastal village in 8th-century Norway, pale skin, blonde beards, fur cloaks, dramatic stormy sea background.”

What's one prompt you're working on now? I'll be happy to try some prompts to see if I can get closer to what you are looking for.
