Question

Style Reference photo not restrained within structure reference

Hello,

I'm trying to create one of those 3D text effects using Firefly, but I've encountered some bugs (if it's a bug).

Once I upload both of my reference photos for Structure and Style and enter my basic prompt, it generates the artwork, but it goes way beyond the Structure reference frame. (strength is on max). I want only the letter itself to be affected, no overlapping or stuff in background (the "isolate on white background" prompt is not working)

I've seen some examples online that get clean results, so I was wondering if it's something on my end (I'm using the latest online version, firefly-dot-adobe-dot-com.

Also attached is the screenshot of the setup.

Thanks, everyone!

Hello @Milan376590639wjh ,

Is the background of the structure reference image transparent? If so, remove the transparency. If it is not transparent, try inverting the colours.

Hey,

Thanks for the replay.

The background is pure white, and when I tried with transparent, it wasn't working properly.

Now with black background the edges are better but still, the style reference "overlaps" in background.

First of all what's very important: I've asked one of those people who make those videos, just how long it took them to generate the result they put into the video. And the answer was 2 hours and entered the same prompt probably 300 times. Those 2 hours were then used to cut the 3 minute video.

Second: If you want the stream of liquid to shape that letter, I would draw the structure reference in that way.

I have made a tutorial about the process and in it you'll see a few stages of how I refined the structure image and it got the resulting AI image closer to what I wanted. https://youtu.be/myvI4GOSKzQ
