    Hey @Nighthawk 2781

First it is frustrating for sure, when you don’t get the desired results that you want.

There are a lot of quick actions that could help w editing photos.

    Hello!

I am very sorry to hear about your experience. Losing over 200 credits without getting the desired results is understandably frustrating, especially when the tool feels unresponsive to your prompts.

To help you resolve this and prevent further credit loss, please consider the following steps:

    1. Why Credits are Consumed Without Results

Adobe Firefly charges a credit once the 'Generate' button is pressed and the process starts on the server. If the process fails halfway due to a Network Timeout or a Browser Cache issue, the credit may still be deducted.

    • The Fix: Before trying again, please clear your browser’s cache and ensure you aren't using a VPN or aggressive Ad-blockers, as these often interrupt the AI's 'handshake' with the server.

    2. "Not Following Instructions"

If Firefly isn't reflecting your prompts, it might be due to a Language or Content Filter trigger that isn't displaying an error message correctly.

    • Tip: Try using simpler, descriptive keywords instead of long sentences. Also, ensure your 'Structure' and 'Style' reference strengths aren't set too high, as they can sometimes override new prompt instructions.

    3. Regarding Credit Restoration

As a Product Expert, I must clarify that credits are typically not restored automatically via the forum. However, since you’ve had a significant technical failure (200+ credits), you should contact Adobe Customer Care directly.

    • Go to the Adobe Contact Center.
    • Type 'Agent' in the chat to speak with a human representative.
    • Provide them with the approximate dates and the number of failed attempts; they have the tools to verify server-side errors and may offer a manual adjustment for your credits.

Quick Test: Try using Firefly in an Incognito/Private window. If it works correctly there, it confirms the issue was with your browser settings and not the service itself. This will help you save your remaining credits."
