Trying to create a simple map of glasgow. Landmarks and street names - most of them are wrong. Losing credits like crazy.

This is not a bug — it is a fundamental limitation of how AI image generation works that is worth understanding before spending further credits.Firefly is a generative AI image model, not a mapping or cartographic tool. It has no access to real-world geographic data, street databases, or spatial information. When asked to generate a map of Glasgow, it produces something that visually resembles a city map — streets, labels, landmarks — but these are generated from patterns in its training data (such as Adobe Stock) rather than actual geographic information. Street names, landmark positions, and spatial relationships will be invented or approximate, and no amount of prompting will produce an accurate result because the underlying capability simply does not exist in any AI image generation model.For an accurate map of Glasgow, the following tools are much better suited to the task:- OpenStreetMap (openstreetmap.org) — free, accurate, and exportable in a range of formats- Google Maps — for screenshots or embeds- Mapbox or Esri — for styled, customisable mapsHopefully one of these alternatives gets you to the result you are looking for without any further credit loss.  droopy

For future maps, you might find VectorMaps.uk useful — full disclosure, I built it. It generates accurate editable street maps as SVG/PDF, so you can open Glasgow directly in Illustrator and style it there instead of redrawing everything from Google Maps. Could save quite a bit of tracing.
