Two Questions re Favorites and Credits

QUESTION ONE re FAVORITES

WORKFLOW: Type prompt > adjust Effects as needed > Generate > click heart/star to Favorite


ASSUMPTION: When I favorite an image, it would favorite that exact image w/all settings/effects applied and allow me to pull up that exact same image w/settings/effects in the future.

 

REALITY: Things aren't working as expected. Are these features, bugs, my assumptions are off, or ???

  • If I go to Favorites tab during Current Session > mouse over a favorite > click View Samples... it shows me exactly what I had when I favorited it (at least it has so far, knock on wood).
  • If I go to Favorites tab > mouse over a favorite from a Previous Session > click View Samples...
    • Sometimes it defaults to Photo (instead of Art) and removes any Effects that I had checked i.e., it does not show what I had originally favorited.
    • Othertimes, it generates something similar but still not what I had originally favorited.
    • If I download that same image from the Favorites tab, it does have the Effects I applied so why wouldn't clicking on View Samples show me what I actually favorited with the Effects I had applied.


QUESTION TWO re CREDITS
I have 1,000 credits w/my All Apps plan so I'll never go through all of them but.. I'm curious as to why clicking on a Favorite (View Samples) costs me another credit. It should just bring up what I already generated and favorited hence my first question.

 

P.S. I am using Adobe Firefly on Win 10 w/Firefox V122.0

On your first question, out of curiousity, for the images where it is not generating the same image, were they all created before December 1, 2023? If so, I think this is the issue and would appreciate you upvoting it:

    Since Adobe has the info, it would be cool if they could display date/time info with favorites (either below an image or on mouse over). Without that info, I'm pretty sure the last time I played with Firefly was around Christmas 2023 though it may have been a week or two earlier.

     

    Something went wonky some time in December though as a few of my previous session favorites (Firefly Image 2) are fine but at a certain date... both Firefly Image 2 and Firefly Image 1 lose their settings/effects and don't return the same image when View Samples is clicked and... it charges another credit 😉 Adding to the strangeness... I can download them and they appear as I would expect with settings/effects intact.
