Question

Typos keep appearing even when clearly spelled out in the prompt causing the user to have to keep using credits.

I would give you screen grabs but I can’t find what I was trying to create. I did a total of 8 similar videos but none of them came out right with the text that was needed. It couldn’t spell the word “Referral” at all and spelled the word “Valley” wrong (Valey). Sometimes it would ignore my prompted quotation marks for certain words but when I used them in prompting a number, the quotation marks showed up. This whole process wasted at least an hour of my time in repeat or modified prompting and it still never got it right for a pretty simple video. The video itself worked very well but the text application was a huge fail. Not the first time I have seen Firefly mess up text. an extremely weak point. Luckily I have Adobe Premiere and can add my text in there although I shouldn’t have to.

    Hi Ralph38645370qdyr!

We recognize some irregularities in certain scenarios, but text and symbol generation. You can create generation without text and then add the text in Express. Here's how: (9) How to add text to Video in Adobe Express - YouTube

To report generations with distorted or unclear text, select the thumb down icon that appears on the bottom of the generations.

    Thanks,

    Hi Kartika,

I appreciate your feedback but it just shows how weak the application is when it comes to overall work (maybe you should have a warning that states “generating text may result in typographical errors”). This way producers won’t waste their time and look towards a different process or application for applying tex from the start. The animation of all the text was spot on with the only problem being mis-spelled words and even that mis-spelling was different from one generation to the next. To be honest, I don’t need to watch a YouTube video on how to add text using a different app and I have been an Adobe user for many years as both a graphics and video/film professional (cut my first feature film using Premiere). I think it would be much better for all involved if Adobe fixed the problem in the first place since it is this problematic. This won’t make me stop using something like Firefly for generative animation but I don’t like it when a buggy app costs me this much studio time without accomplishing what I set out to do.

    Sincerely,

    Ralph S
