Was uploading several images to put together a group of people in the image to be generated. Was having to problems loading up to 5 images.

Took a brief break and came back on to find I can only load a single reference image and have to do that as an upload. Unable to add from Cloud or update an image already loaded for reference

I think this is the same bug reported here:

As a work around, try dragging the image into the reference box rather than clicking on it.

cleared brower cache, tried logging out, tried incognito browser, tried rebooting. Will try a different brower and have my fingers crossed!

This is by no means the best fix. Another user pointed this out as a temporary workaround.

Editing Multiple images: Temporary Fix
Open firefly, sign out then use as you normally would. Add your reference images and write your changes you want, hit generate. It should ask you to sign in. Sign in and hit the edit image button, it will then go back to what you were trying to do whilst signed out but your reference images will be there. Hit generate again and it will do its magic. Hassle is if you want to do more editing, you will have to do it all again, but use the newly edited image as your first reference image.

I don’t get any error...just click on the box to add the reference and nothing happens. Using what generate images defaults to Gemini 3.1 (Nano Banana 2). Everything was working until mid day yesterday
