Upscale with Topaz produces bad quality

Has anyone had luck with getting quality results using Topaz to upscale their video? 

The upscaling produces horrible quality every time. I have yet to generate a quality version better than the original, it’s always worse. It is introducing artifacts, creating very artificial-looking features which looked completely fine in the original. At least the original looked real. Now it's horrible, artificial-looking slop.

Should Topaz only be used on high-resolution stock video? If so, add a disclaimer not to use this with AI-generated content, because it's burning through credits like crazy with all these useless generations.

And I'm doing this through the main Firefly page, I avoid Boards altogether. Even image generation is horrible there. Save your credits. Don't use Boards unless it's for concepts.
