القصة:

يُحكى أن رجلًا من بني عبس أراد شراء خُفّين (حذاءين) جديدين، فذهب إلى حُنين، وهو إسكافي (صانع أحذية) مشهور. فاوضه الرجل على السعر لكنه لم يعجبه، فأهان حُنين وقرر ألا يشتري منه.

غضب حُنين وقرر أن ينتقم منه. فسبقه في الطريق ورمى خفًّا واحدًا، ثم مشى قليلًا ورمى الثاني بعيدًا عنه. عندما مرّ الرجل ورأى الخف الأول، لم يأخذه وظن أنه وحيد، لكنه عندما رأى الثاني فكر أن الخفّين متطابقان ويستحقان أن يعود لأخذهما معًا. فترك دابته وعاد للخُف الأول، فاستغل حُنين الفرصة وسرق الدابة وكل بضاعته.

عندما عاد الرجل إلى قومه، سألوه ماذا جلب من السوق، فقال لهم بحسرة: "رجعتُ بخُفّي حُنين!"

المعنى:

يضرب هذا المثل لمن يعود خائبًا بعد جهد كبير، بلا فائ

دة أو مكسب.

Here's a fun and engaging cartoon story idea for a YouTube video:
