Using Adobe Firefly AI sound effects in your own music

What rights do you have with an Adobe Firefly subscription? I wonder if I have permission to create sound effects in Adobe Firefly AI sound effect generator, such as thunder or birdsong, and use it in my music that I create myself in Cubase and later publish the music on Spotify?

    Hi elias86,

Thanks for bringing your question in.

Yes! Adobe Firefly models are specifically designed to be commercially safe, so you can use the sound effects, images, or other assets you create with them in client projects, marketing materials, and other business uses.

This is a key benefit of using Firefly models over some third-party AI models, which may have more restrictive licensing or unclear copyright status.

Note: for features that are in beta, you can use the outputs generated from Firefly for your commercial projects unless explicitly stated otherwise in the product.

You can read more about Firefly’s approach for commercial use here.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
