Question

Why does it become garbage?

I know the image is not of high quality, but the problem occurs even when it is of high quality. Here in the middle I want to delete an object and fill the surface with surrounding structure. And I expect this to happen without me writing a prompt (and it works well sometimes). But often firefly generates something that does not resemble the surrounding at all, and even if I write a prompt. How can I get firefly to always do the obvious and what sometimes succeeds?

Hello @SpotSixSwaps,

Thank you for your message.

What process were you using?  I took the image into generative fill, selected the area:

and used the Remove function:

This is not perfect, but is the first generation. What results were you getting?

Thanks,

I am not sure of what function i was using, but both of them (insert or remove) sometimes give these results. And I can see a pattern here, and it's the size. The smaller the area is, the more likely it is that it will be this kind of garbage.
