Question

Why does the requested output dimension not reflect in the Start and End frame dimension ?

I set the output to Square, but my Start and/or End frame are still expecting a landscape dimension.  Do I really need to crop or expand my precise and precious image to some unwanted start or end reference frame size ? This is giving me a headache…

    Hi Peter Villevoye,

I tested this on my side with all the models that offer a square aspect ratio (Pika 2.2 / Ray3.14 / Ray3 / Ray 2 / Ray3 HDR ), and I’m not getting the behavior you’re describing.

When I upload a landscape keyframe, I still get the square crop selector, I just hover over the keyframe, then hover over the pop‑up preview underneath it, and it lets me choose the exact square portion I want from the landscape image.

So far I haven’t been forced to crop or expand the original image outside of that square selection window.

If you’re seeing something different, it might be worth sharing a screenshot or quick clip, because the experience you’re describing isn’t matching what I’m getting here.

    Let us know.
