Why would it add things about race?

Because it has seen that kind of imagery in its "training". It can only give you stuff it has seen before. It does not interpret the meaning of what you want like a human does. THese things are not meant to replace designers.

Firefly (and other GenAI tools) will often fill the gaps with its guesses of what is most appropriate. As @jane-e mentioned, using another tool to add text for your sign would be better than getting Firefly to do it.

If you share your prompt, it will give a better sense of what you're asking for and suggestions of variations could be provided that may give a better result. My advice is if a created image isn't exactly as you were envisioning, try reword your prompt with extra detail or a different way of expressing the image and that may give you a better output.

I see that the text you asked also did not work. You might try entering the text in Adobe Express or another application, as Firefly only sees letter shapes and not words.

I can't begin to guess as to the "why" it added the strange heading...
