i was recently on temu and i took a screenshot of a dress i liked. then later, i was on adobe firefly and i gave it a reference image of a person and a DIFFERENT outfit. i did not upload that dress at all onto any adobe apps. instead of giving me my requested images, you hacked into my computer and used that exact dress that was NOT uploaded ever. i am concerned that you are hacking into my devices, and that is not okay. you must stop this immediately, and this is VERY ILLEGAL so if you dont want me to report you, kindly stop hacking my computer.

have a nice day.

    Hi Avigayilk,
Thank you for reaching out and we completely understand why this felt alarming, we want to put your mind at ease.

Adobe Firefly does not have the ability to access, scan, or retrieve files stored locally on your device. Only content you explicitly upload through our interface is ever used in your session.

Large online marketplaces inventory is vast and widely present across the internet. Firefly's training data includes a broad range of licensed imagery, which naturally overlaps with popular retail styles. When generating results, the AI can produce clothing that looks strikingly similar to items you've seen elsewhere, not because it accessed your device, but because that style of dress simply exists in its training data.

We understand this can feel unsettling when the resemblance is close, but we want to assure you: your local files are yours alone.

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

i understand, but such a close resemblance of the picture, especially when i saw it just that day is very concerning. i don’t think we can just call this coincidence...
