Question

'You're In' email received .. but .. where do I access Firefly?

I received the 'You're In' email a few days ago - thank you.

But where do I access Firefly?

  • In the email, the link (apart from Discord and this community) just took me back to the original request form.
  • I Assumed Firefly would be listed in the Creative Desktop App - but not there.
Not under Apps nor Beta Apps.

What am I missing?

To clarify.

  • I have an Adobe ID as I've been a CC subscriber since day 1.
  • I used this Adobe ID, which is a business domain email - NOT a social email address - to sign up for the Firefly beta.

So, this is not an email issue.

Question

  • where is the Firefly Beta accessed from?
  • Is it accessed via the Adobe CC Desktop App?
    • If so, is there perhaps a delay from receiving the 'You're In' email to when it is added to the Adobe CC Desktop App?
    • If Firefly is not accessed via the CC App, then I'm wasting my time looking for in there.  I would appreciate clarification on this please.
  • If Firefly is not accessed vis the CC Desktop App then where is it accessed from?

Thank you.

As I stated in my earlier response, you need to go to the website https://firefly.adobe.com . This is the link for Firefly, and was the first link mentioned at the bottom of the e-mail. As Firefly is still in beta, it doesn't appear to have been added to Creative Cloud yet.

Once you're on the site, there are 3 buttons in the top right corner. The "Sign in" button is the middle one. You should just be able to log in from there.

So from my "You're In" e-mail, I clicked on the first link at the bottom of e-mail which is https://firefly.adobe.com and then once on that page I was asked if I had an Adobe account number (which you need in order to access  Firefly). I didn't have an Adobe account, so I had to quickly make one on their website and then once you have the Adobe account number, you sign up to a Firefly account.

Hope this helps

Following on from my last message, I've just come across this recent update in the Firefly access rollout thread. It may or may not be relevant to your case, but it's always useful to know what could be causing the issue for you:

"*Update* We are still working through access issues. We have identified that some users who used social signup (Apple, Google, Facebook) to create or access their Adobe account are unable to access Firefly. To quickly remedy this issue, please create a new Adobe account using an email address/password (not one of the social signin options). Once you have created your new account, please fill out the form again and provide the email address associated with your new account. We will process these"

Let me know if you're still having problems and I'll see if there's anything else I can find. Good luck!
