Fonts won’t show in Applications

I have a new machine running in home office and I copied the system from the office machine (iMac 2019) to the home ofrfice machine (iMac 2021). Everything running fine — except the font activation. It simply does not work. I log on to fonts.adobe.com and activate a font — it doesn’t show in InDesign or Illustrator or Photoshop or anywhere else. When activated, the little green box appears at the bottom of the page, indicating the font wasd activated. But the message from CC in the notification center doe not appear. Same problem with the office machine: an active font didn’t show and was missing. Then, a day later, it was there. But only on the original office machine, not the home office machine.

I have already de- and re-installed the CC App on the system. I have logged off and on several times. I have restarted again and again.
