I have created a project by inserting videos of a course that I teach and the videos have been uploaded from liked in. But I would like to add a playback bar for each video, apart from the playback bar for the entire project add video playback bar.

I would like to have a playback bar like the one that appears automatically when you insert a video from your computer.

Thanks

    Hi @Alejandro5C39 ,

Thank you for contacting Adobe Captivate Prime Team.

I need to know the authoring tool you are using to create this course to answer your query.

If you are using Adobe Captivate, we can add the playbar for each individual videos in slides.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi, Debiprasad. I am using Adobe Captivate and have a similiar concern. I would like to create a course that includes a nonscrubbable video file and a quiz. The users should also be able to pause the video and then resume where they left off.  I have an Adobe Captivate subscription and an Adobe Learning Manager subscription. How do I accomplish that requirement/how do you disable video scrubbing in Captivate files uploaded to Adobe Learning Manager?

I created the custom pause/resume buttons in Adobe Captivate and uploaded the file to Adobe Learning Manager but the users were able to scrub through the video on slide one. I was then told by Adobe Support to disable to Playback Control within the Adobe Captivate file and upload the new file to Adobe Learning Manager and doing this eliminates the pause/resume function. Content tracking/the ability to resume content is supposed to be possible within Adobe Learning Manager but when users pause the video and exit out of the course - they then have to restart the video from the beginning and they have to remember where they left off.

If I upload the video to Adobe Learning Manager as a standalone piece of content, the video will pause/resume where it was paused but then users can scrub through the video. If I upload the video as a slide in a Captivate , then there is no way to utilize the custom playbar built within Adobe Captivate because users are able to use the ALM playbar to scrub through the video.  The only way to disable the ability for users to scrub through the video is to disable the custom playbar within Captivate and disabling that playbar eliminates the pause functionality.

I need the ability to deliver a course to learners using Adobe Learning Manager & that course includes two components: (1) a nonscrubbable video file and (2) a quiz. The users should also be able to pause the video and then resume where they left off. How do I correctly use Adobe Captivate and Adobe Learning Manager to accomplish this need?
