Authors editing modules

If one author creates a module and shares it, can another author edit it? I think the question if you can share with just specific people as authors was asked here before and the answer was no. Is the same true here? I would bet so since you would not want just anyone to be able to edit your module. In that case, it would be really nice to be able to give edit rights to certain people.

Thanks!

Hello Wendy,

Yes, the shared modules can be edited by all the authors in your Prime account.

Private modules would not be seen at all by the other authors in the account.

So if the module is a shared one, then all the authors can access it. We can not assign the edit rights to specific ones only.

It will be for all the authors.

That is great news! Thank you for your prompt reply.

The reason I asked is that I had created a module, and shared it, and another author tried to edit it but was not able to save the changes. She was trying to edit the course description and it let her make the edits but again, when she went to save it, it looked like it saved but then reverted back. I am having her try another course to see if the same thing happens. THANKS for your help!!
