automatic field detection not working on on more than one page

I need to use Adobe Acrobat's automatic field detection to make fillable form with fields on on several pages. However, each time, it one automatically detects the first page, leaving all other pages undetected.

Is this the default? Or there is something wrong? Is it possible to set it up to do what I expect it to do?
