Cannot Upload Subtitle .vtt Files

Question

Hi all -

When I try to upload a simple .vtt file to add subtitles for a video in my content library, I am always met with a an error that says "Captions file for content __________ failed to be created. Reason: An Internal Error has occured."

This has been happening for the past few days. Any help or advice?
