Question

Content on slides not showing up in preview

I have imported a PowerPoint presentation into a project. To create a online eLearning course. When I preview the project, some of the content on a few slides is just missing. I cannot figure out what is happening. The slides in the project look fine, but during preview the content (text) is missing. I see the title block, but nothing else.

Any help will be appreciated.

    Hi @jamesj24201737 ,

When you said, "I imported a PowerPoint presentation into a project." Are you referring to Adobe Captivate (the eLearning authoring tool)? Or, Adobe Captivate Prime (the learning management system)? Can you pease clarify?

I had no idea there was more than one. I am using the Adobe Captivate 2019 program. I am not sure what the Captivate Prime is. I am trying to create elearning courses to market and sell on my website. Should I be using The Prime version?

@jamesj24201737 , I love it! Yes, Adobe's learning management system was launched less than 6 years ago and is directly integrated with Adobe Captivate 2019. Check out this video for more information.

The feed where you asked this question is for LMS questions. The Adobe Captivate feed is here. I already looked in the Captivate community and found this answer. Take a look. You may have some fancy treatment on your text that is not being recognized by Captivate. Be sure to strip all of that off and try again. Another thought is that the text could be white, on a white background (which makes the text look invisible). These are a few thoughts that come to mind.
