Question

Course Equivalencies/Mark Learners Complete

Hi,

Looking for any advice. We published three courses and need to combine them into one because two of the courses are actually modules that belong in the other course. Having three separate courses has also caused confusion and complaints among our clients so this is rapidly becoming a priority. We know how to combine the modules into one course; however, we are unable to find how to either mark the courses as equivalent or mark learners complete. We need the option for equivalencies or to mark learners complete because some of the learners have completed the three separate courses and we cannot request they review the content again.

Does anyone have any advice on how to do this or recommendations?

Thanks,

Renee

mark learners complete is possible from admin scope.

    Steps:

    Go to Admin App
       1. Select "courses" in the left pane

       2. Select a specific course (for which learner mark complete to be done)

       3. Go to "Learners" in the left pane of the selected course
       4. Select Learners enrolled in the course and find the dropdown "Actions".
This "Actions" dropdown has mark complete feature.

Thank you for the response! This helps with manually marking learners complete for a course. Do you happen to know if there is a way to setup course equivalencies?

    Thanks,

    Renee

    Just a WARNING!

The option to "Mark Completion" is almost completely useless. If this option is used it places the current date in the learners transcript not the actual completion date. I really have no idea why this option even exists since it most likely will create bad data.
