Courses not available in learning paths

When I go to create a new Learning Path, in Adobe Learning Manager, the courses I'd like to select for the path are not there. 

Is there a setting that I'm missing in courses, that disables their use in a learning path? I've tried both catalogs we have, and the courses still don't show up as able to be chosen for a Learning Path.

After some assistance from another user, we got it figured out.

Turns out, the setting to make the new courses into Manager Nominated courses makes it so that those courses are not available for Learning Paths at this time, since the manager has to preapprove the nomination and enroll you themselves.
