Do badges tie in to leader board tracking in gamification

Question

Hello,I am unclear if  badges assigned  for courses can also influence leader board tracking via gamifciaton.  Can a badge have points associated to it?  Thank you in advnce for any insights.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting Adobe Captivate Prime Team.

The Badges do not have any points associated with them.

The points in the leaderboard are the gamification points that a user gets upon completing a course.

The calculation of the gamification point has no relation with the badge assignment.
