I would like to set up two different classes in the system and make it to where completion of either course will meet the requirement.

That is the option to set that either Course of that Learning Program can be completed to get credit for the Learning Program. This setting is also available for Modules in a Course.

Just a thought... if it works for your situation...

What about assigning a certain skill level to each course which grants credit.

If the requirement, then, is to, let's say, earn one credit in the skill category... either course would grant that skill credit.

From the photo, as I look more closely, it appears you have the two courses in a program.

In this case, I would expect that completing one of the two courses would indeed satisfy the requirements of the program.

The completion limit basically says this is how many items you must complete. It does not care which of the items are completed - just that you complete that many.
