Enrollment type caused an error

I had a course set for self-enrollment and wanted to change it to Manager-approved. When i did, i received this error message, "Changing to more restrictive enrollment type is not allowed.". How can i make this change without this error? Nobody is enrolled in this class, as I just created it. Thanks.

Thank you for contacting Adobe Captivate Prime Team. 

 

My sincere apologies for the inconvenience. As per the current implimentation we can not change the enrollment type to more restrictive type once its published. That means we can change the enrollment type from Manager Nominated to Manager Approved or Self- enrolled but not the other way around. 

 

I hope this image below will help.

As this course you have created has no enrollment so far, we can use a simple trick to solve the issue. 

  • Log in as "Author"
  • Go to the Courses page
  • Find this course tile and hover your mouse over the three dots at the bottom right of the tile. 
  • Choose the option "Dupliacate Course"
  • This will create exact duplicate of the course and here you can select the settings you want for this course and publish it. 
  • You can retire /delete the old course with incorrect enrollment type.
