How do I remove a manager or manager role?

I am unable to delete user that has left the company.  This user had Manager role permissions and a team of direct reports. 

 

The first couple of times I tried, I got an error saying that the user couldn't be deleted since they were a manager.  Now when I try, I get no feedback after submitting the deletion request... but the user is still there.

 

Is there any way around this issue?  Can the manager role be revoked or changed to another user?

 

tl;dr What options do i have for deleting a manager?

    Hi,

     

    Thank you for contacting Adobe Captivate Prime Team.

     

    To remove a Manager Role from a user you need to follow the below steps. 

    1. We need to make sure there is no one reporting to that person. Once this is done the Manager role will be removed from the user automatically. 

    2. So please check how you have uploaded the users to Prime. 

         * In case you have created each user one by one manually then you have manually change the manager of all those users. Once done you can Delete the Manager from the account.

         * In case you have uploaded the users to Prime through a CSV, kindly make the required changes in the CSV and re-upload it. Once done you can remove the user from Prime.
