How do you add/type a simple post into the course?

Question

I would like to add simple text to my lesson--similar to a post or announcement. I don't want to type it into a Word every time and upload it as a document. Want about a link to a Youtube/Vimeo video? What about embed a video? Am I missing something here? Is Prime missing the basic elements that make a LMS functional to deliver content?

you can add a course description text which then shows up at the top of the Course page for the learner.

You can also create a "self paced module" which is a standard PDF, doc or ppt with your standard text inside, which you then can use as the first module for every course you want to publish.

instead, you can also start with an "activity Module" within each course. This can be a link, also to youtube.
