Introducing the October 2021 release of Captivate Prime

The October 2021 release of Captivate Prime introduces the concept of Learning Paths.

 

Learning Paths replace our existing feature of Learning Programs. Imagine Learning Programs getting powerful enhancements without dropping any existing capabilities. Also, the feature gets branded as a Learning Path.

 

Captivate Prime Learning Programs are renamed to Learning Paths. This change happens immediately after the release and the terminology of Learning Path is reflected in all roles. But the functionality of the Learning Programs (now called Learning Paths) doesn’t change immediately. Learners can continue to consume Learning Programs (now called Learning Paths) and Authors/Admins can continue to create them as well. Learning Paths bring to you a range of functionalities.

      Hi Team 

       

       Thanks for sharing details about this new feature "Learning Path" , We are extracting CP data via Job API ( Learner Transcript & Training Report ) via automated process using Python scripts , I noticed , by default the Learning Path option has got enabled with my Admin account and I could see those 3 fields populating in the mentioned data extracts .

      Also it was been mentioned that in field "Type" "Learning Program" value will be replaced with "Learning Path" , but I am not sure , whether this data value change is going to take place for existing connection also , please advice

      What would be the advantage of extracting data from CP with API in CP Prime? What kind of data do you collect and what is the function of this data, what is it for? A curiosity of mine 🙂

      Hi Fabio

       

      We have setup an automated process of extracting Adobe Sales Enablement Learning data on a daily basis from CP , using V2 Job API .. further this data is load in our databases , from where we do reporting and create dashboard in POwer BI .
