Looking for information on migrating to the Adobe LMS (Prime)

Currently have courses in SumTotal, which is godawful. But I'd like to get an idea of what's involved in migrating my courses into the Adobe system.

If you assign yourself the role of Integration Admin on the account, you can then change roles to Integration Admin and gain access to the Migration Toolkit.  Typically you export courses and history from Sumtotal to an FTP, fill out the migration template excel file, and then upload them all to Captivate Prime, but that is an over simplification.  Are you working with a Partner or just Directly with Adobe?  We offer some additional help and free training for implementation and beyond.

Hi Joe,

Data Migration efforts depend on quite a few factors. In your case, are you just looking at migrating courses or also at migrating the user data as well. I can send you a sample excel format in which you need to migrate the data.

Can you please drop an email on nisarora@adobe.com?

It is probably better to move your question to the Prime forum, which I will do for you.

Captivate Prime defines canonical formats for ingesting data and content in the context of a typical LMS migration project. Please see Reference manual for Integration Administrators who want to migrate an existing LMS to Captivate Prime LMS to get an idea.
