Problem with drag and drops interaction turned into a quiz

I have created a bespoke drag and drop slide using the wizard in Captivate 9 and made this into a quiz. I have set an incorrect answer box and a correct answer box. When published and tested the incorrect box is displayed as expected when the answers are not correct but the correct box is not displayed and the slide simply progresses as set up in the on success properties. Any idea how I can get the correct box to display before the slide moves on?

Hi There,

Could you please confirm the below points which help us to diagnose the issue-

  1. Have you selected the "Success Caption" in Drag and Drop properties window under Actions tab? If yes then please check the text color of the "Success Caption" under its properties in "Style" tab, as it might be set to white color and that matches with the background color of your slide/project and that might be the reason Success caption appeared in the output but you was unable to see it.
  2. Also, if everything has been setup correctly, then please confirm if the issue seen only with the specific project or it occurs with a blank/new project as well?
  3. You may try to recreate the Captivate 9 preferences if issue occurs within a blank/new project by following the below steps-

  • Close Captivate 9.
  • For Windows- Go to "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 9 x64\utils" and run CleanPreferencesWin.bat file.
  • For Mac OS- Go to "\Applications\Adobe\Captivate 9\utils\" and run CleanPreferencesMac.bat file.

After that, restart Captivate and check if that resolves the issue.

Regards,

Ajit
