Hello Guys

I am having troubles publishing an interactive project i developed on captivate to also captivate prime lms as an Interactive project. I would love for learner and users to be be able to navigate throught teh project by using ONLY the buttons designed within the project and not be able to skip through. There is a play button at the lower part of the screen that allows users play and skip through, that is what i would want to appear. Thank you all

Thanks guys, I have been able to resolve it. For anyone who ever encounters such issues, simply go to project, under project, skin editor, and there the settings can be made. Thank you!

As it was mentioned, in order to disable the buttons in the play bar in Prime, you have to turn off the playback bar and borders in Captivate via the skin editor.

Also, the side effect of this is that you cannot use that skin editor for any of your courses. Adobe Captivate Prime will overwrite all those settings, buttons, and mess up your ToC. This can be a hassle if you make ADA compliant courses using the skin editor (like closed captions) as sometimes those buttons or settings disappear.

I find the best practice is to create your own buttons and interactions to get around this issue and disable the skin editor all together in Captivate as long as you keep using Prime. Use the built in SVG icons under the assets as they can scale with your projects and create a universal play bar that feels more modern!

    Hi,

Thank you for contacting Adobe Captivate Prime Team.

Yes, you can disable the Playbar and TOC from Skin Editor in Prime to force the users to use the navigation buttons in the project.
