Re-Enrolling Learner goes into Default Instance

I would like to re-enroll a learner to re-take a course. The course is set up in the Default Instance and in Instance #2. When I select Instance #2 and click enroll, then select the learner, they are enrolled in Default Instance.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
