REPORTS

Hi all,

We're in the prelaunch phase of our Prime project.
We're having a hard time wrapping our head around Reports. Specifically, what triggers and sources of data.

We're finding that some reports aren't entirely accurate or are missing data that we expect to see, (ie course completion, compliance etc.)  We're trying to form a narrative to train our managers on the Mgr Dashboard and, like I said, we're having  hard time explaining what exactly the reports are telling the viewer/mgr and where the data is coming from. Are there bugs or?

I've looked at the guides an have tried to find other resources to no avail.

Does anyone have insight on this?

Thanks

I can attest that the reporting functions of Prime are a little cumbersome and a bit overwhelming, the data is there, it is just hard to try and find it.

Something I've done to help my managers is creating a walk-through on how to create a dashboard report for all outstanding trainings. This way, they have a graph to go in a look at quickly. If they are looking for a particular course, I navigate them to courses and have them view their learners there.

Also, Learning Summary can help narrow down on who they want to view, but it is a lot of clicks to get the data you want.

Additionally, downloading of reports requires a bit of workbook expertise to format and arrange. Some of my managers don't want to deal with any of that. There is also a lot of data that may not be relevant.
