Sending a cptx file and loading cptx file to adobe captivate prime account

Good day,

Sorry for the following beginner type questions:

First Question:

I am hiring an instructional designer. They will add some features to a mp4 3 minute video. They will then load it to my adobe captivate prime account. Once they load it, does that automatically remove it from their adobe captivate etool they used to add the features?

Second Question:

Can they email me the finished cptx file? If so, is there a special mechanism they must use to send it to me then I can load it to my adobe captivate prime account without giving them access to my adobe captivate prime account?

Thanks

Hi RP321,

Answer to your first question is, the instruction designer will be having the Captivate Project file (.cptx) which he can further use to edit and publish.

Second, Project file needs to be published with Reporting enabled i.e, having SCORM, AICC or Tincan standard for interaction based course else it can be a mp4 video. designer can send you the file over any File transfer medium and you can then upload the course to Captivate Prime.

In case you have further query, please send an email to captivateprimesupport@adobe.com .
