Steps for recieving data in reports using xAPI

Question

Hi,I am looking to upload an xAPI course to Captivate Prime and gather assorted data from the course but I am not sure of the steps. It has been published in xAPI file format.  When I upload the course, it runs fine but no data appears when a report is run. Do I need to register an application for it to run? Or is this only for external applications such as sales force. I am abit lost regarding this. If anyone can advise the steps, I would appreciate it. Thank you.
